Test X: Turn & High Beam Indicators Never/Always On

  1. Turn ignition off. Remove instrument cluster. See REMOVAL & INSTALLATION  . Disconnect instrument cluster connector C276. See Figure . Measure resistance between ground and instrument cluster connec tor C276, pin No. 19 (Black wire). If resistance is 5 ohms or less, replace instrument cluster. If resistance is greater than 5 ohms, go to next step.
  2. Leave ignition off. Remove Green diode strip from junction box No. 2 and connector C2010. See Figure and Figure . Measure resistance between instrument cluster connector C276, pin No. 19 (Black wire) and diode junction box No. 2 connector C2010, pin No. 14 (Black wire). If resistance is less than 5 ohms, go to next step. If resistance is 5 ohms or more, repair open in Black wire.
  3. Leave ignition off and Green diode strip removed from junction box No. 2. Measure resistance between ground and diode junction box No. 2 connector C2010, pin No. 15 (Black wire). If resistance is less than 5 ohms, replace Green Diode strip. If resistance is 5 ohms or more, repair open in Black and/or Black/Red wire.
