Test N: Instantaneous Or Average Fuel Economy Always Indicates 0 Miles/Gal Or 99 Miles/Gal

  1. Perform TEST J: CRUISE CONTROL INDICATOR DOES NOT COME ON WHEN CRUISE CONTROL ENGAGED test. Repair or replace as necessary. If speedometer is okay, go to next step.
  2. Turn ignition off. Remove instrument cluster. See REMOVAL & INSTALLATION  . Disconnect instrument cluster connector C272. See Figure . Check for voltage signal at instrument cluster connector C272, pin No. 8 (Orange/Black wire). If voltage signal is present, replace instrument cluster. If voltage signal is not present, repair Orange/Black wire.
