Description & Operation

Analog instrument cluster contains an analog speedometer and tachometer. Fuel gauge, temperature gauge, odometer, trip odometer and trip odometer reset button are located to right of centrally mounted speedometer. Warning/indicator lights and transmission range indicator are located in a row at bottom of cluster. Right and left turn signal indicators flank speedometer at cluster top. See Figure .

Instrument cluster and instrument panel illumination is controlled by the autolamp/light switch rheostat resistor located on left side of instrument panel. Battery voltage to rheostat is supplied from tail light relay. Voltage from rheostat to bulbs ranges from 9.0 volts (brightest) to 0.2 volt (dimmest).
