Test T - Improper Upshift Indicator Operation

Turn ignition off. Remove instrument cluster. See INSTRUMENT CLUSTER under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Remove upshift indicator light bulb. Check continuity between terminals of bulb. If continuity exists, see TESTS W/CODES article in ENGINE PERFORMANCE section. If continuity does not exist, replace upshift indicator light bulb.
Visually inspect instrument cluster printed circuit for damage, cracks or hot spots. If instrument cluster printed circuit is okay, see TESTS W/CODES article in ENGINE PERFORMANCE section. If instrument cluster printed circuit is damaged, replace printed circuit and gauge contact clips. See PRINTED CIRCUIT under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION.
