Pinpoint Test Z - Turn & High Beam Warning Never/Always On

  1. Turn ignition off. Remove instrument cluster. See REMOVAL & INSTALLATION  . Disconnect instrument cluster connector C1. Measure resistance of Black wire between connector C1, pin No. 14 and ground. If resistance is 5 ohms or less, replace instrument cluster. If resistance is greater than 5 ohms, go to next step.
  2. Leave ignition off. Remove Green diode strip from junction box No. 2. Measure resistance of Black wire between connector C1, pin No. 14 and diode junction box No. 2 connector, pin No. 10. If resistance is less than 5 ohms, go to next step. If resistance is 5 ohms or more, repair open in Black wire circuit.
  3. Leave ignition off and Green diode strip removed from junction box No. 2. Measure resistance of Black wire between diode junction box No. 2 connector, pin No. 15 and ground. If resistance is less than 5 ohms, replace Green Diode strip. If resistance is 5 ohms or more, repair open circuit in Black wire or Black/Red wire.
