Pinpoint Test V - Door Ajar Warning Never/Always On

Turn ignition on. Wait until prove-out cycle is completed. If warning indicator is always on, go to next step. If warning indicator is never on, turn ignition off. Remove indicator bulb. Check for continuity between indicator bulb terminals. If continuity is not present, replace bulb. If continuity is present, go to next step.
With ignition off, open and close each door individually. If courtesy light does not come on, repair as necessary before continuing. If courtesy light comes on, go to next step.
Close all doors. Leave ignition off. Remove instrument cluster. See REMOVAL & INSTALLATION . With instrument cluster connector C2 connected, measure voltage between ground and connector C2, pin No. 11 (Brown/White wire). Open door and measure voltage again. If voltage is greater than 10 volts with all doors closed and less than one volt with any door open, replace instrument cluster. If voltage is not as specified, go to next step.
Turn ignition off. Disconnect instrument cluster connector C2. Measure resistance of Brown/White wire between instrument cluster connector C2, pin No. 11 and diode junction box 2 connector terminal No. 19. See Figure -6 and Fig. 8. Measure resistance of Brown/White wire between ground and instrument cluster connector C2. If resistance between instrument cluster connector and diode junction box 2 connector is less than 5 ohms, and greater than 10,000 ohms between instrument cluster connector and ground, replace Green diode strip. If resistances are not as specified, repair Brown/White wire circuit.
