Pinpoint Test Ad - Seat Belt Warning Chime Never/Always On

Buckle left and right shoulder belts. Unbuckle driver side lap belt. Turn ignition on. Turn ignition off. Buckle driver side lap belt. Turn ignition on. If seat belt warning chime comes on when lap belt is unbuckled and does not come on lap belt is buckled, go to next step. If seat belt warning chime does not operate as specified, check for fault in seat belt warning chime.
Turn ignition off. Disconnect seat belt buckle switch connector. Measure resistance of Black wire between seat belt buckle switch connector and ground. If resistance is less than 5 ohms, go to next step. If resistance is 5 ohms or more, repair Black wire circuit.
Leave ignition off. Unbuckle driver side seat belt. Measure resistance between seat belt buckle switch connector terminals. Buckle driver side seat belt. Measure resistance between seat belt buckle switch connector terminals again. If resistance is less than 5 ohms when driver side seat belt is unbuckled and greater than 10,000 ohms when driver side seat belt is buckled, go to next step. If resistances are not as specified, replace driver side seat belt buckle switch.
Leave ignition off. Remove instrument cluster. See REMOVAL & INSTALLATION . Remove seat belt warning indicator bulb. Check for continuity between indicator bulb terminals. If continuity is present, go to next step. If continuity is not present, replace bulb.
Leave ignition off. Reconnect seat belt buckle switch connector. Unbuckle driver side seat belt. Disconnect instrument cluster connector C1. Measure resistance of Green wire between instrument cluster connector C1, pin No. 9 and ground. Buckle driver side seat belt. Measure resistance of Green wire between instrument cluster connector C1, pin No. 9 and ground again. If resistance is less than 5 ohms when driver side seat belt is unbuckled and greater than 10,000 ohms when driver side seat belt is buckled, replace instrument cluster. If resistances are not as specified, repair Green wire circuit.
