Pinpoint Test Ac - High Beam Warning Indicator Never/Always On

  1. Turn headlights on. Turn high beams on. If high beams operates normally, turn headlights off and go to next step. If high beams do not operate normally, repair or replace as necessary.
  2. Turn ignition off. Remove instrument cluster. See REMOVAL & INSTALLATION  . Remove high beam indicator bulb. Check for continuity between indicator bulb terminals. If continuity is present, go to next step. If continuity is not present, replace bulb.
  3. Turn ignition off. Disconnect instrument cluster connector C1. Turn headlights and high beams on. Measure voltage of Orange/Blue wire between instrument cluster connector C1, pin No. 18 and ground. If voltage is more than 10 volts, replace instrument cluster. If voltage is 10 volts or less, repair Orange/Blue wire circuit.
