Pinpoint Test Aa - Left Turn Indicator Never/Always On

  1. Turn ignition on. Turn left turn signal on. If turn signal operates normally, go to next step. If turn signal does not operate normally, repair or replace as necessary.
  2. Turn ignition off. Remove instrument cluster. See REMOVAL & INSTALLATION  . Remove indicator bulb. Check for continuity between indicator bulb terminals. If continuity is present, go to next step. If continuity is not present, replace bulb.
  3. Turn ignition off. Disconnect instrument cluster connector C1. Turn ignition on. Turn left signal on. Measure voltage of Red/Green wire between instrument cluster connector C1, pin No. 6 and ground. If voltage alternates 0-10 volts, replace instrument cluster. If voltage is not as specified, repair Red/Green wire circuit.
