Instrument Panel
The instrument panel houses the controls for most of the vehicle's electrical systems. In addition, the glove compartment is located in the upper right hand side of the instrument panel, and the left hand side of the instrument panel frames the steering column and houses the instrument cluster, the left hand instrument panel finish panel, and the outside rear view mirror control. The A/C side window demister and hoses, the A/C registers, and defroster air outlets are mounted in the instrument panel.
The instrument panel finish panel, located in the center of the instrument panel, houses the following components: Climate control assembly, Radio chassis, Instrument panel ash receptacle, and Console bin. See Fig 1 .
