Coolant Temperature Gauge

The temperature gauge is integrated into the Electronic Instrument Cluster (EIC). The temperature gauge display is identified by a thermometer symbol. H (Hot) indicates high temperature, C (Cold) indicates low temperature, and NORMAL indicates a normal temperature range. The temperature gauge indicates the engine coolant temperature based upon a resistance sent by the water temperature indicator sender unit. As engine coolant temperature increases, successive bars on the gauge will illuminate in relation to the following temperatures: See Figure .
