Electronic Instrument Cluster (EIC): Notes
The Electronic Instrument Cluster (EIC) contains a digital speedometer, odometer, and graduated tachometer. The right hand side of the EIC contains graduated fuel level and engine coolant temperature gauges. The message center display is located on the left hand side of the EIC. The warning indicators and the transmission control selector indicator are located along the bottom of the cluster. The diode junction block, located behind the EIC, protects the EIC circuitry by allowing current to flow in only one direction. See Fig 1 .
