Warning Lamp System: Notes

Visually inspect the components of the warning lamp system for the following:

• Misaligned door
• Low washer fluid
• Low engine oil
• Blown fuse(s): 10A Meter and 15A Room Lamp
• Damaged bulb(s)
• Damaged wiring harness
• Loose or corroded connections
• Damaged door jamb switch(es)

Check the wiring harness for obvious signs of shorts, opens, bad connections or damage. If fault is not visually evident, determine the symptom and proceed to the diagnosis.
