Tachometer, Oil Pressure & Coolant Temperature Gauges/Warning Lamps: Notes

For the oil pressure warning lamp system, visually inspect for the following:

• Low engine oil level
• Damaged engine oil filter
• Damaged oil pump
• Blown 10A fuse
• Damaged wiring harness
• Loose or corroded connections

For the electronic tachometer and temperature gauge system, visually inspect for the following:

• Blown 10A fuse
• Damaged wiring harness
• Loose or corroded connections

Check the wiring harness for obvious signs of shorts, opens, bad connections or damage. If fault is not visually evident, determine the symptom and proceed to the following symptoms.
