Indicator Lamp System: Notes

Visually inspect the components of the indicator lamp system for the following:

• Blown 10A Meter fuse
• Damaged bulb(s)
• Damaged wiring harness
• Loose or corroded connections

Verify that the turn signals, high beam headlamps and the speed control systems are all working correctly. If the systems are not working properly refer to the appropriate section of this Service Manual to diagnose the system. Check the wiring harness for obvious signs of shorts, opens, bad connections or damage. If fault is not visually evident, determine the symptom and proceed to diagnosis.
