Fuel Gauge & Low Fuel Warning Lamp: Notes

Visually inspect the components of the fuel gauge and low fuel warning lamp system for the following:

• Blown 10A Meter fuse
• Damaged connectors
• Damaged low fuel warning lamp bulb
• Damaged instrument cluster
• Broken or loose wiring harness
• Corroded or poor connections

Check the wiring harness for obvious signs of shorts, opens, bad connections or damage. If fault is not visually evident, determine the symptom and proceed to the following symptom chart.
