Low Oil Pressure Switch: Installation

  1. Apply sealant to the threads of the low oil pressure switch and install on the oil filter adapter. See Fig 2 .
  2. Tighten the low oil pressure switch securely. Connect the low oil pressure switch electrical connector. Lower the vehicle.
  3. Check and refill the engine oil. Refer to the procedure in this section. Connect the negative battery cable. Start the vehicle and check for leaks.
