Instrument Panel: Installation

  1. Install the right and left registers. Install the right and left demister nozzles. Position the instrument panel to the vehicle.
  2. Install the instrument panel upper bolts. Install the instrument panel center nut. Connect the two autolamp module electrical connectors and position the autolamp module to the instrument panel, if equipped.
  3. Install the photo transistor, if equipped. Install the defroster grille. Install the right and left A-pillar trim.
  4. Install the console bin to the radio and tape chassis bracket. Tighten the four console bin screws. Install the radio and tape chassis. Install the climate control panel.
  5. Connect the cigar lighter/illumination lamp electrical connector and position the ashtray assembly to the instrument panel. Install the four ashtray housing screws. Install the control console bezel and control console bezel screw.
  6. Connect the power mirror switch electrical connector and install the power mirror switch, if equipped. Position the warning chime and install the two warning chime bracket screws. Tighten the warning chime bracket screws. Connect the warning chime electrical connector.
  7. Install the instrument cluster. Install the steering column. Install the glove compartment box.
  8. Install the right and left instrument panel screws. Install the right inner duct screw. Install the right and left knee reinforcement plates. Install the right and left inner kick panels. Install the storage bin and the four plastic storage bin screws. Connect the negative battery cable.
