Visual Inspection

  1. Visually inspect the components of the temperature gauge system.
    • Stuck temperature gauge needle
    • Blown fuse: 10A METER
    • Damaged instrument cluster printed
    • Damaged wiring harness
    • Loose or corroded connections
  2. Check the wiring harness for obvious signs of shorts, opens, bad connections or damage.
  3. If fault is not visually evident, determine the symptom and follow diagnostic procedure.
