Visual Inspection

  1. Visually inspect the components of the tachometer system.
    • Stuck tachometer needle
    • Blown fuse: 10A METER
    • Instrument cluster printed circuit
    • Damaged wiring harness
    • Loose or corroded connections
  2. Check the wiring harness for obvious signs of shorts, opens, bad connections or damage.
  3. If fault is not visually evident, determine the symptom and follow diagnostic procedure.
