Visual Inspection

  1. Visually inspect the components of the cigar lighter system.
    • Damaged cigar lighter
    • Blown fuse: 20A CIGAR LIGHTER
    • Damaged connectors
    • Broken or loose wiring
    • Corroded or poor connections
  2. Check the wiring harness for obvious signs of shorts, opens, bad connections or damage.
  3. If fault is not visually evident, determine the symptom and follow diagnostic procedure.
