Removal (1.6L)

Remove timing belt covers. See TIMING BELT COVER  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Remove timing belt tension spring and loosen timing belt tension pulley. Support engine with floor jack and remove right engine mount. After marking timing belt direction of rotation, remove timing belt.
