Removal & Installation (1.3L)

Remove timing belt. Drain cooling system. Remove lower radiator hose, inlet tube and heater return hose from water pump. Remove water pump retaining bolts and water pump. Clean gasket mounting surface, replace gasket and coat with gasket sealer. Tighten bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS TABLE  at the end of this article. Refill cooling system. Warm engine and check for leaks.
