Hub & Wheel Bearings: Removal

  1. Raise vehicle. Remove wheel and tire assembly. Remove grease cap, cotter pin, retainer, adjusting nut and washer from spindle.
  2. Pull hub and drum off spindle, being careful not to drop outer bearing assembly. Remove outer bearing assembly.
  3. Remove grease seal with Remover (1175-AC) and discard seal. Remove inner bearing from hub. Clean hub and spindle with clean cloth.
