Removal (Crown Victoria, Grand Marquis & Town Car)

1. Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove instrument cluster trim cover retaining screws and trim cover. On Crown Victoria, remove lower steering column cover. Remove knee bolster on Grand Marquis and Town Car.
2. On Crown Victoria, remove lower half of steering column shroud. On all models, remove transmission indicator bracket from steering column. See Fig 1. Remove cluster retaining screws. Unplug harness connectors. Pull cluster away from instrument panel.
