Removal (1.3L)

Remove transaxle. See TRANSMISSION REMOVAL & INSTALLATION article in TRANSMISSION SERVICING. Remove flywheel or flexplate. Remove rear engine plate (if equipped). Remove rear main bearing oil seal retainer and press out rear main bearing oil seal.
