Removal (1.3L)

Remove cylinder head. Remove rocker arm assemblies if not previously removed. Carefully remove camshaft thrust plate. Remove camshaft front oil seal. Carefully slide camshaft out front of cylinder head. DO NOT  damage bearing bores.
