Wheel Bearings

Raise and support vehicle. Remove wheel and tire. Remove grease cap and cotter pin. Remove nut retainer. Tighten lock nut to 17-25 ft.lbs. while rotating hub and drum assembly. Back off adjusting nut approximately 1/2 turn. Then retighten adjusting nut to 10-15 INCH lbs. Position nut retainer so that slots are in line with cotter pin hole without rotating adjusting nut. Install dust cover, wheel cover or ornaments and nut covers, as required.
