Rear Main Bearing Oil Seal: Removal
With engine removed from vehicle, remove rear cover plate and flywheel. Using a sharp awl and hammer, drive tip of awl through metal casing of seal. Use a sheet metal screw to remove seal, using care not to damage sealing surfaces. See Fig. 7.
