Low Fuel Indicator

This warning system consists of an electronic sensor/switch device, located on relay above glove box, and an indicator light in instrument panel. Switch is controlled by the difference in voltage potential between the two terminals of fuel gauge. When tank is less than one-quarter full of fuel, switch is closed by the difference in voltage potential, turning on the indicator light. The indicator should also come on, but for less than one minute, when the ignition is turned to the "ON" position.
