Anti-Stall Dashpot

Fig. 11 Dashpot adjustment:

1. With air cleaner removed, and with engine idle speed and mixture properly adjusted, loosen anti-stall dashpot lock nut, Fig. 11.
2. Hold throttle in closed position and depress plunger with a screwdriver.
3. Check clearance between throttle lever and plunger tip with a feeler gauge of the specified clearance dimension. Then turn dashpot in its bracket in a direction to provide the specified clearance.
