Oil Pump: Notes

Rotor type pump used on all engines. See illustration for arrangement of parts.  Pump cover plate screw torque is 6-9 ft. lbs. Observe the following specifications: 

Oil Pump Specifications (All Engines)

Outer Race-to-Housing .006-.012"
Rotor Endplay .0011-.0041"
Shaft-to-Housing .0015-.0029"
Relief Valve-to-Bore .0015-.0029"
