Compass Zone Adjustment

  1. Determine which magnetic zone you are in for your geographic location.

  2. Start the engine.
  3. NOTE: The XX below represents a numeric display. For example, the display may read ZONE 08 RESET = CHANGE.

    From the SETUP menu, press and release the RESET button until ZONE XX RESET = CHANGE is displayed.

  4. NOTE: The zone selection increases with each subsequent button press with a range of zones from 1 to 15 scrolling back to the beginning.

    Press and release the RESET button until the desired zone appears in the message center display.

  5. To exit the zone setting mode and lock in the changes, press and release either the SETUP or INFO button or simply wait 4 seconds and the message center locks in the zone.
