Transmission Case: Assembly

Using the Shift Rail Needle Bearing Installer with the Handle, install a new shift rail bearing.

NOTE: Fill the oil pump housing with a suitable engine assembly white grease.

Install the oil pump assembly.
1. Install the rotor into the pump housing.
2. Install the oil pump body.
3. Install a new oil pump snap ring.

Using the Input Shaft Bearing Cup Installer with the Handle, install the input shaft bearing cup.
- Do not install the oil trough, input shaft shim or the input shaft oil dam bearing ring at this time. The bearing preload adjustment procedure will determine the thickness of the shim to be installed.

Using the Handle and the Centerplate Front Bearing Cup Installer, install the countershaft bearing cup.
- Do not install the shim at this time. The bearing preload adjustment procedure will determine the thickness of the shim to be installed.
