Transmission Filler Tube: Removal

  1. Remove the transmission fluid level indicator.

  2. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. For additional information, refer to JACKING & LIFTING .
  3. Remove the transmission fluid filler tube nut.

  4. Remove the transmission fluid filler tube.

  5. Remove and discard the transmission fluid filler tube O-ring.
