Pinpoint Test E: PCA (Line Pressure) Solenoid

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2010 Ford Pickup, 2010 Ford F550 Super Duty, 2010 Ford F450 Super Duty, and 2010 Ford Cab & Chassis. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
NOTE: This test should only be used if DTCs P0748, P0960, P0962 or P0963 are present.
NOTE: Read and record all DTCs.
NOTE: Refer to the Transmission Vehicle Harness Connector illustration within the TRANSMISSION CONNECTOR LAYOUTS  procedure.
NOTE: Refer to the Internal Harness Connector illustration within the TRANSMISSION CONNECTOR LAYOUTS  procedure.
  1. E1 CHECK TRANSMISSION VEHICLE HARNESS FOR CONTINUITY
    • Ignition OFF.
    • Disconnect: PCM C175T.
    • Disconnect: Transmission Vehicle Harness C1385.
    • Check to make sure the transmission vehicle harness C1385 is fully seated, terminals are fully engaged in the connector and are in good condition before proceeding.
    • Measure the resistance between PCM C175T and C1385 using the following chart.
