DIAGNOSTIC ROUTINES - UNEXPECTED ELEVATED IDLE SPEED

Possible Component Reference/Action
262 - ROUTINE 
Powertrain Control System   
  • PCM (gasoline engines), Transmission Control Module (TCM) (diesel engines), vehicle wiring harnesses, internal transmission wiring harness, Shift Solenoid Pressure Control A (SSPCA), Transmission Solenoid Power Control driver circuit, Torque Converter Clutch (TCC) solenoid, Output Shaft Speed (OSS) sensor, Transmission Fluid Temperature (TFT) sensor, Transmission Range (TR) sensor Power Take-Off (PTO) input
  • Failure Mode Effect Management has been enabled. Refer to Routine 266
  • Repair as required. Clear the DTCs, road test and rerun OBD  test.
