Pinpoint Test B: All Power Windows Are Inoperative

- B1 CHECK CIRCUIT CBP47 (GN/BU) FOR VOLTAGE
- Disconnect: LH Front Window Control Switch C504a (Crew Cab) or C504b (Regular and Super Cab)
- Key in ON position.
- Measure the voltage between LH front window control switch C504a -2 (Crew Cab) or C504b-7 (regular and SuperCab), circuit CBP47 (GN/BU) harness side and ground.
- Is the voltage greater than 10 volts?
- B2 CHECK CIRCUIT CBP47 (GN/BU) FOR AN OPEN
- Key in OFF position.
- Disconnect: Smart Junction Box (SJB) C2280D
- Measure the resistance between LH front window control switch C504a -2 (Crew Cab) or C504b-7 (regular and SuperCab), circuit CBP47 (GN/BU) harness side and SJB C2280D-32, circuit CBP47 (GN/BU), harness side.
- Is the resistance less than 5 ohms?
- YES : Go to Pinpoint Test F to diagnose the delayed accessory relay system.
- NO : REPAIR the circuit. TEST the system for normal operation.
- B3 CHECK CIRCUIT GD179 (BK/VT) FOR AN OPEN
- Key in OFF position.
- Open the driver door.
- Measure the resistance between LH front window control switch C504b-7 (Crew Cab) or C504b-2 (regular and SuperCab), circuit GD179 (BK/VT) harness side and ground.
- Is the resistance less than 5 ohms?
- YES : INSTALL a new LH front window control switch. REFER to Window Control Switch .
- NO : REPAIR the circuit. TEST the system for normal operation.
