Exhaust Manifold - RH: Installation

Install 10 new exhaust manifold-to-cylinder head studs.
- Tighten to 12 Nm (106 lb-in).
Using new exhaust manifold gaskets, position the gaskets and the exhaust manifold and install 10 new exhaust manifold nuts.
- Tighten to 25 Nm (18 lb-ft) in the sequence shown.

Position the exhaust manifold heat shield and install the 2 bolts.
- Tighten to 14 Nm (124 lb-in).
Install the 4 exhaust manifold-to-catalytic converter nuts.
- Tighten to 40 Nm (30 lb-ft).
Install the RH inner fenderwell. For additional information, refer to FRONT END BODY PANELS article.
Install the starter. For additional information, refer to STARTING SYSTEM - GASOLINE ENGINES article.
If equipped, install the transmission filler tube. For additional information, refer to AUTOMATIC TRANSAXLE/TRANSMISSION - TORQSHIFT article.
