Crankshaft Rear Seal: Removal

  1. Remove the flexplate or flywheel. For additional information, refer to Flexplate  or Flywheel .
  2. Remove the engine rear cover plate.
  3. Using the special tools, remove and discard the crankshaft oil slinger.

  4. Using the special tools, remove and discard the crankshaft rear seal.
