Cleaning
- Clean area surrounding drain screw (2) and level screw (3).
Remove
- Unscrew level screw (3) far enough until it makes contact with the drain screw (2).
- Remove drain screw (2).
Cleaning
- Clean threaded hole of drain screw (2).
Fill
- Inset filler hose of
hand pump into threaded hole of drain screw (2) until it is positioned at the upper edge of the overflow pipe.
- Fill transfer case with transfer case gear oil using
- Drain transfer case oil from threaded hole of drain screw (2) until the flow of transfer case oil stops.
Install
- Screw drain screw (2) into transfer case and tighten
.
Install new drain screw (2).
- Screw in level screw (3) and tighten
