DANGER Risk of death  caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform. Align vehicle between vehicle lift columns and position the four support plates at the vehicle lift support points specified by the vehicle manufacturer. AS00.00-Z-0010-01A
WARNING Risk of injury.  Moving parts can pinch, crush or, in extreme cases even sever extremities. No parts of the body or limbs should be within the operating area of mechanical components when moving components. AS00.00-Z-0009-01A
REMOVING Remove     
1 Remove center engine compartment lining (2) and rear engine compartment lining (3).    
REFER TO TESTING & REPAIR     AR61.20-P-1105S
2 Remove rear underfloor paneling (4).    
REFER TO TESTING & REPAIR     AR61.30-P-1001S
INSPECT Check     
3 Check front suspension struts (5) for damage and fluid loss. IMPORTANTIf necessary, use commercially available devices/tools. 
Swiveling inspection mirror with lighting, comparable to inspection mirror Hazet 1977-1
If problems are determined,
↓
rectify the problems.
IMPORTANT After obtaining special order.		  
4 Check that front boots (6) are correctly seated and are not damaged. IMPORTANTIf necessary, use commercially available devices/tools. 
Swiveling inspection mirror with lighting, comparable to inspection mirror Hazet 1977-1
If problems are determined,
↓
rectify the problems.
IMPORTANT After obtaining special order.		  
5 Check front elastomer bearings (7) for cracks, deformation and wear; also check for play by firmly pulling and pushing on front suspension struts (5). IMPORTANTIf necessary, use commercially available devices/tools. 
Swiveling inspection mirror with lighting, comparable to inspection mirror Hazet 1977-1
IMPORTANT The front elastomer bearings (7) must be seated with zero clearance in the housing eye and they may not be cracked or damaged.
If problems are determined,
↓
rectify the problems.
IMPORTANT After obtaining special order.		 AP32.00-P-3255-01A 
6 Check electrical connectors (9, 13) and electric lines (10, 14) for damage, routing and mounting. IMPORTANTIf necessary, use commercially available devices/tools.

If problems are determined,

rectify the problems.
IMPORTANT After obtaining special order.		  
7 Check hydraulic lines (8) for damage and fluid loss. IMPORTANTIf necessary, use commercially available devices/tools.

If problems are determined,
↓
rectify the problems.
IMPORTANT After obtaining special order.		  
8 Check front delivery pumps (11) for damage, fluid loss, mounting and corrosion. IMPORTANTIf necessary, use commercially available devices/tools.

If problems are determined,
↓
rectify the problems.
IMPORTANT After obtaining special order.		  
9 Check front delivery pump elastomer bearings (12) for cracks, deformation and wear; also check for play by firmly pulling and pushing on front delivery pumps (11). IMPORTANTIf necessary, use commercially available devices/tools.

If problems are determined,

rectify the problems.
IMPORTANT After obtaining special order.		  
10 Check rear suspension struts (15) for damage and fluid loss. IMPORTANTIf necessary, use commercially available devices/tools.

If problems are determined,

rectify the problems.
IMPORTANT After obtaining special order.		  
11 Check that rear boots (16) are correctly seated and are not damaged. IMPORTANTIf necessary, use commercially available devices/tools.

If problems are determined,
↓
rectify the problems.
IMPORTANT After obtaining special order.		  
12 Check rear elastomer bearings (17) for cracks, deformation and wear; also check for play by firmly pulling and pushing on rear suspension struts (15). IMPORTANTIf necessary, use commercially available devices/tools. 
Swiveling inspection mirror with lighting, comparable to inspection mirror Hazet 1977-1
IMPORTANT The rear elastomer bearings (17) must be seated with zero clearance in the housing eye and they may not be cracked or damaged.
If problems are determined,
↓
rectify the problems.
IMPORTANT After obtaining special order.		 AP32.00-P-3255-01A 
13 Check electrical connectors (19, 23) and electric lines (20, 24) for damage, routing and mounting. IMPORTANTIf necessary, use commercially available devices/tools.

If problems are determined,

rectify the problems.
IMPORTANT After obtaining special order.		  
14 Check hydraulic lines (18) for damage and fluid loss. IMPORTANTIf necessary, use commercially available devices/tools.

If problems are determined,

rectify the problems.
IMPORTANT After obtaining special order.		  
15 Check rear delivery pumps (21) for damage, fluid loss, mounting and corrosion. IMPORTANTIf necessary, use commercially available devices/tools.

If problems are determined,

rectify the problems.
IMPORTANT After obtaining special order.		  
16 Check rear delivery pump elastomer bearings (22) for cracks, deformation and wear; also check for play by firmly pulling and pushing on rear delivery pumps (21). IMPORTANTIf necessary, use commercially available devices/tools.

If problems are determined,

rectify the problems.
IMPORTANT After obtaining special order.		  
INSTALLING Install     
17 Install rear underfloor paneling (4).    
REFER TO TESTING & REPAIR     AR61.30-P-1001S
18 Install center engine compartment lining (2) and rear engine compartment lining (3).    
REFER TO TESTING & REPAIR     AR61.20-P-1105S
