	Remove
1	Remove front suspension strut.	Model 214, 254 with code 489 (AIRMATIC Dual Control/semi-active air suspension)	AR32.25-P-1017WTX
		Model 223 with code 490 (Electrohydraulic suspension)	AR32.25-P-1017SA
		Model 223 except code 490 (Electrohydraulic suspension)	AR32.25-P-1017S
2	Remove clamp (2).
3	Remove boot (1) at top.
4	Cut open boot (1) and remove.	Carefully cut open boot (1). Otherwise, the suspension strut will be damaged.
5	Cut open plastic ring on underside of boot (1) and remove.	Do not damage surface of suspension strut.
	Install
6	Slip boot (1) over suspension strut.	replace boot (1).
7	Insert half shells (3, 4) and slip boot (1) over half shells (3, 4).	Aid of helper required. Check boot (1) is correctly seated.
8	Install clamp (2) onto boot (1) at bottom.
9	Slip on boot (1) at top.	Check boot (1) is correctly seated.
10	Install front suspension strut.	Model 214, 254 with code 489 (AIRMATIC Dual Control/semi-active air suspension)	AR32.25-P-1017WTX
		Model 223 with code 490 (Electrohydraulic suspension)	AR32.25-P-1017SA
		Model 223 except code 490 (Electrohydraulic suspension)	AR32.25-P-1017S
