	Remove/install
1	Remove suspension strut concerned.	Model 223 with code 490 (Electrohydraulic suspension)	AR32.25-P-1017SA
		Model 223 except code 490 (Electrohydraulic suspension)	AR32.25-P-1017S
2	Remove fuse and relay module with housing in engine compartment and place to one side with connected lines.	When removing the upper transverse control arm (2) on the driver's side.	AR54.15-P-0005S
3	Remove air duct segment.	When removing the upper transverse control arm (2) on the front passenger side.

4.1	Remove battery of 12 V on-board electrical system.	Model 223 with engine 177 with code B01 (48V technology) with code ME10 (Hybrid vehicle (plug-in, PHEV)) When removing the upper transverse control arm (2) on the front passenger side.

4.2	Remove battery of 48 V on-board electrical system.	Model 223 with engine 176 with code B01 (48V technology) Model 223 with engine 256 with code B01 (48V technology) Model 223 with engine 656 with code B01 (48V technology) When removing the upper transverse control arm (2) on the front passenger side.	AR54.10-P-0022S
5	Secure steering knuckle (1) to prevent it from folding down.
6	Detach upper transverse control arm (2) from steering knuckle (1).	Nut, steering knuckle to transverse control arm	*BA33.20-P-1006-01T
7	Remove retaining clamp (3) of front level sensor from upper transverse control arm (2).	Pay attention to installation position.
8	Counterhold bolts (4) and remove nuts (5).	Nut, transverse control arm to body	*BA33.20-P-1005-01T
9	Pull out bolts (4).
10	Remove upper transverse control arm (2).
	Check
11	Check elastomer bearings at upper transverse control arm (2) for wear and damage.	If there is a problem, ↓ Replace upper transverse control arm (2).
12	Check upper ball joint at upper transverse control arm (2) for wear and damage.	If there is a problem, ↓ Replace upper transverse control arm (2).
13	Check upper transverse control arm (2) for damage.	If there is a problem, ↓ Replace upper transverse control arm (2).
14	Install in the reverse order.
