Remove
- Unscrew screws/bolts (1 to 4) opposite direction of engine rotation (arrow) through opening in housing.
Aid of helper required.
Turn engine further in direction of engine rotation at center bolt of crankshaft using
box wrench.

Turn engine further in direction of engine rotation at vibration damper of crankshaft using
If center bolt or vibration damper is not accessible,

turn engine further at rotor using a wide screwdriver.
- Pry rotor off drive plate using
- Check threaded inserts in drive plate for loose fitting and damage; replace drive plate if necessary.
- Check whether rotor is lying flat against drive plate.
If necessary, press rotor onto drive plate using
- Tighten bolts (1 to 4) in numerical sequence
