Purpose:
Vehicle lift safety device for fixing vehicle in place on vehicle lift.
NOTE:
One set contains 2 vehicle lift safety devices, attach these on each axle at least. The safety device prevents the vehicle from tilting over during removal of the engine or rear axle.

For removal of the high-voltage battery, mount the W 171 589 01 31 00 Vehicle lift safety devices at front right and rear left and in combination with W 169 589 02 31 00.
