Remove/Install Emergency Fresh Air System Compressed Air Bottle - AR86.10-P-0151SG

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
1 Remove rear panel trim.   AR68.30-P-4750SG
2 Remove electrical fuse 5, special-purpose vehicles (F80/1f5), and electrical fuse 7, special-purpose vehicles (F80/1f7) from special-purpose vehicle fuse block (F80/1). IMPORTANT Special-purpose vehicle fuse block (F80/1) is located at top right in trunk, behind rear panel trim.
IMPORTANT This prevents the emergency fresh-air system from being accidentally triggered.
IMPORTANT The wiring diagram documentation for this model series can be found in DWD (Dynamic Wiring Diagram).

3 Disconnect electrical connector from compressed air cylinder (1).    
4 Open clamp (3) and detach hose (2) from compressed air cylinder (1).    
5 Release and open screw clamps (4).    
6 Remove compressed air cylinder (1).    
7 Install in the reverse order.    
8 Open right and left vent flaps with diagnostic system. Only after emergency fresh air system has been triggered.  
REFER TO SELF DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEMS IMPORTANT Go to 'Fire-extinguishing system control unit and emergency fresh-air system' menu item (N100/1) and select 'Actuations' tab. Select opening of vent flap.   AD00.00-P-2000-06FR
