| Remove/install | |||
| 1 | Remove right air filter housing. | AR09.10-P-1152SC | |
| 2 | Release and disconnect electrical connector (1) of ignition coil (T4/1). | ||
| 3 | Release and disconnect electrical connector (7) of ignition coil (T4/2). | ||
| 4 | Remove holder (2). | ||
| 5 | Unclip retaining clips (9) and place electrical wiring harness of ignition coil (T4/1) and ignition coil (T4/2) to one side. | Do not crush or kink or subject lines to tension. This would lead to damage to the lines and can impair their function. |

| 7 | Pull out ignition coil (T4/1) upwards and remove. | ||
| 8 | Unclip the cable duct (3) and place it to one side. | Fig 1 | |
| 9 | Cut cable tie (5). | ||
| 10 | Remove vacuum line (6) from vacuum pump, seal openings with suitable stop plugs and place vacuum line (6) to one side. | Fig 2 | |

| 12 | Pull out ignition coil (T4/2) upwards and remove. | ||

| 13 | Check ignition coil (T4/1) and ignition coil (T4/2) for damage. | If they will be reused. If damage is present: ↓ Replace ignition coil (T4/1) and/or ignition coil (T4/2) with spark plug connectors. |

| 14 | Approx. Apply about 1 g of spark plug connector grease to the spark plug connector. | Apply spark plug connector grease to reduce pull-off and attachment forces Spark plug connectors will otherwise be damaged the next time they are removed. Spark plug connector grease 35 g |
