WARNING Risk of accident  from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury  (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running. Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes.
Do not touch hot or rotating parts.

WARNING Risk of burn injuries  , suffocation and poisoning when working on the exhaust system and the components connected to it. Risk of suffocation and risk of poisoning caused by inhalation of gaseous and solid components of the exhaust. Risk of poisoning caused by skin contact with solid components of the exhaust. Wear protective clothing and safety glasses. Use the extraction system. Move people out of the danger zone. AS49.00-Z-0001-01A
  Preparatory activity     
1 Call up workshop level in the instrument cluster. IMPORTANT The workshop level with the tabs appears in the driver's display (4):
"Vehicle data", "ASSYST PLUS", And other equipment-dependent menu items.

2 Start engine. IMPORTANT Vehicle must be on a level surface.  
3 Use swipe movements on the finger navigation pad (3) to select and confirm the "Vehicle data" menu item in the workshop level. IMPORTANT The oil filling capacity in the oil pan without the oil filter is displayed in the driver's display (4).  
4 Use swipe movements on finger navigation pad (3) to select and confirm "Oil level" display. IMPORTANT The oil level is displayed in the driver's display (4).  
5 Use swipe movements on finger navigation pad (3) to select and confirm "Oil filling capacity up to maximum oil level" display. IMPORTANT The oil filling capacity up to maximum oil level is displayed in the driver's display (4).  
INSPECT Check     
6 Check engine oil level in driver's display (4) using "Oil filling capacity up to maximum oil level" display. 4
INSPECT To receive a valid measurement value, the engine must have been running for at least 120 s since starting and the engine oil temperature must be > 60°C.
If the "Oil filling capacity up to maximum oil level" display value is between 0.2 l and -0.1 l,

the engine oil level is OK.
If the "Oil filling capacity up to maximum oil level" display value is < -0.1 l,

drain excess quantity of oil and repeat test from operation step 1.

    If the "Oil filling capacity up to maximum oil level"
display value is > 0.2 l,

add following quantity of oil and repeat test from operation step 1.

  Finishing activity     
7 Exit workshop level in the instrument cluster.   AP00.20-P-0046D
8 Switch off engine.
