When removing and installing the engine cover (1) always make sure that only the positions shown in the picture (arrows A) are to be used for pulling during removal or for pressing during installation. The retaining clips (3) latch in the brackets (2) there. Do not exert any force to the engine cover at any other points. Make sure ball heads (5) are seated correctly in guides (4).

The engine cover can get damaged if these instructions are not observed.
